Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. She has been acclaimed for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising actress. MacGraw became a global superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. Within three years, she had been voted as the top female box office starter in the whole world. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
