Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author over the years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina was employed in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policies and the budget. In the beginning, she found her work to be intellectually stimulating, but eventually lost interest and opened a speciality store for food called Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the store a huge success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. Several other books and newspaper articles were published. Her Food Network TV show also debuted with great hit. In addition, she offers products including food-related ingredients, storage containers and equipment. Ina is an aspiring cook who has never gone to a cooking academy and has never worked in the kitchen. Ina is well-known for her straightforward method of cooking, and her effortless entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet and Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake as well as Lemon Bars.
