Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer who is best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This movie was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. In 1964, she signed to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career balancing Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained to Toronto since then.
