Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler the 28th of June, 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. She was just two when she was abandoned by her mother to get away from an abusive marriage. In 1995, she returned to Pickler's world and gained the custody rights. But it didn't work out as planned. When she turned 12, the court remitted Pickler to her grandparents who took care of her until she reached adulthood. Pickler due to the absence of her parents and her older siblings, became too busy to do her studies. She said that because she had no time for studies, she started to master cooking and clean from a very early in her life.
