Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian artist and singer. More than 20 albums were released by her. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock or alternative. However, it has influences from punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first musician to start her own record label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon.
